Q: What do you normally work with?

A: For sketching, just cheap pens and markers you can get anywhere. For coloring, I work in either gouache/watercolor or Photoshop CS 2.

Q: How long have you been drawing?

A: Unlike most of my peers who were wise enough to start when they were extremely young, I didn't begin drawing until I was 16, mainly because I thought you had to be born with talent or be one of those kids who could play Swan Lake on a violin at age 4.

Q: Can you do a tutorial?

A: One of these days I will.

Q: Where do you get your ideas from?

A: Music, mostly. And a lot of it comes from dreams, especially my Wyit series, which is kind of the product of countless dreams and daydreams since my childhood. 1980s fantasy movies has also been pretty influential to me, since I grew up on Jim Henson, early LucasArts and Don Bluth.

A: Possibly. I don't mind if people print it out for personal use and things like that, but if you'd like to use it for anything public or on the internet, email me about it first.
